The Word of God Is Alive

the word of God

God and his word are one. What he says is who he is. Have you not heard that “God has spoken once; twice have I heard this: that power belongs to God?” And He sent His word, which healed them and saved them from destruction. Again, the word of God is quick; it is powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword. In addition, the word of God is food for the believer’s spirit. All of this leads me to the conclusion that you must meditate on God’s word to grow your faith.

In Joshua 1:8, the Bible says, “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein; for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.” You need the word of God to enjoy success on earth. The success that God wants for you is that you prosper and be in good health, even as your soul prospers. This type of prosperity is far beyond what you can get in the world or what you can achieve for yourself.

If God allows you to prosper, it means you will enjoy all-around rest. And when troubles in life come, God will deliver you because you belong to him. If, on the other hand, your success is earthly, meaning you do not know God or are disconnected from him, know that you’re at the mercy of Satan. We saw in the Bible the parable that Jesus gave about the rich man and Lazarus. How both of them died, and Lazarus was carried by the angels into Abraham’s bosom while the rich man went to hell. (Luke 16:19-31)

Please note that Lazarus did not go to heaven because he was poor; he went there because he served God while on earth. The lesson here is that the rich man’s wealth couldn’t secure him a place in heaven. So, just because you’re succeeding on earth outside of Christ doesn’t mean that you’re saved. Besides, it is God who gives you the power to make wealth. And he expects you to honor him. meaning to fear and live a life worthy of acceptance by God.

In Psalms 119:105, we see that “thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path.” What it means is that, as a child of God, you should live your life by the Word of God. Let the word of God lighten your path. Allow God to guide you through his word. Let the word of God take root in your life. And how is that possible? By the constant study of the word of God. Feed on the word until your mind is renewed, and then continue therein so that you may have good success.

God’s Word Can Transform a Mind That Is Lost in Sin

The word of God can heal and deliver sinners from their destruction. In Psalm 107:20, we read that He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions. It has the power to deliver you from any problem. Are you indulging in a lifestyle that does not give glory to God? I tell you, the power in God’s word can break that yoke and set you free forever if only you will trust and obey God. It begins with you recognizing that you have sinned against God and calling upon him for mercy. If you do, God will be committed to saving you.

The world was framed by the word of God. We see in Genesis Chapter 1 how God created the world and man by speaking his word. When he spoke, his Spirit sprung into action and brought into reality the things that were said. God calls those things that are not as though they were. The word of God is too powerful to fail. Dare to believe what the Bible says and see how God will turn your life around.

This is what happens when you study the word of God: it begins to change you gradually, as the scripture says, and you shall know the truth, and the truth will set you free. In 2 Corinthians 3:18, we see, “And we all, with unveiled faces, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another.” As you begin to study God’s word, invariably, you are beholding the glory of the Lord through the scriptures, and the Spirit of God will take the word of God inside you and transform you into the image of God.

Remember, you are created in the image and likeness of God. It was sin that separated us from God. But through Jesus, you have access to God. The Lord wants to rebuild the broken wall between you and Him. Will you allow him? Jesus is the word of God. When you study the word, you’re rubbing your mind with God’s mind. Gradually, you’re being transformed into his image and likeness. All of this, though, begins with your becoming a Christian. Make sure you give your life to Christ if you haven’t done so. This is necessary because the sinner’s prayer is an abomination to God, according to the Bible. We know that God does not listen to sinners. God expects the sinner to repent of their sins.

There is Healing Power in the Word

Are you sick and trusting God to heal you? It is a good thing that you have faith in God; however, locate a word of God on healing and hold on to it. Say it to God in your prayers in faith and see how that word of God will transform your life. Remember, doctors, treat the ailment, but God heals it completely. We appreciate the doctors for the good work they do; however, they have a limit to how far they can go. But God will start from where the doctors stopped and perfect the work in your life, in Jesus’ name. As far as your eyes can see it and you believe it, then you will have what the word says in Jesus’ name.

In summary, what I want you to do is recognize that, as a child of God, you need the word of God inside of you so that you can grow in the Lord. You need the word of God inside you to be able to resist the devil when he tempts you. Remember how Jesus resisted him; Jesus spoke the word when the devil asked him to command the stone to become bread. Beloved, you need the word of God in your spirit if you want to enjoy God’s kind of success. It is what you know that will determine how far you go in life.
