Obedience Is Better Than SacrificeThe Gift of God Is Eternal LifeThe Wages of Sin Is Death

Why don’t you believe in Jesus?

Why don’t you believe in Jesus? It could be the result of a lack of understanding on the part of the individual. However, it is important to note that unbelief does not have to be the result of an intentional rejection of God.

faith, love hope, cross

It starts slowly and gets out of hand if not acted upon quickly. It is hard for you to kick against the pricks, as Acts 9:5–6 says. You must remember that faith is a choice, and it is up to each individual to make the right decision.

Acts 4 vs. 12:
Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

Except the name of Jesus, you have salvation nowhere else. Jesus is our salvation, and salvation is in the name of Jesus! In His name, we are saved. Have you ever heard that the Lord’s name is a strong tower into which the righteous run and are saved? In truth, Jesus is the only way to the Father.

I think that one reason why most people refuse to believe in Jesus or turn their lives over to him is because of pride. Some worry about what those around them will say or what society will think of them as a result of their newfound faith.

Hear me out: What good is it if you gain the world but lose your soul? Heaven is real, and so is hell. The only requirement for you to enter heaven is that you confess Jesus as your Lord, believe in your heart that he died and rose again to save you, and continue in the faith.

Why don’t Jews believe in Jesus?

Many of the Jews who did not believe in Jesus at the time didn’t do so because of their unbelief. They saw him as one of their own.

They knew who Jesus’ earthly father and mother were, and they knew that he was born in a manger, so believing that he was the Son of God or the Messiah was rather hard for them to swallow. No wonder Jesus said a prophet is not recognized by his own people.

Never get too familiar with God. Jesus proclaimed that he was the Son of God. However, some of the Jews at the time did not believe, but many did. And the good thing, though, is that after his death and resurrection, many believe today that Jesus is the Son of God.

Most of the Jews who did not believe in Jesus at the time did so because they wanted a special miracle. They were looking for a sign in spite of all the miracles that Jesus performed before them.

You know what happened to them? They became familiar with the Son of God but didn’t believe that He was the messiah, and so God gave them over to a reprobate heart, allowing them to walk towards their own destruction.

The devil then ceased that opportunity and blinded their eyes so that, by seeing, they would see and not believe as the Bible teaches.

Mark 4:12, KJV: That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them.

2 Corinthians 4:4 KJV:
In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

Unbelief is a disease that eats as deeply as cancer if it goes unnoticed. And when it does, it eats deeper into the heart of the doubter, making believing in God more difficult. There is nothing anyone can do to change the plan of God that it is only through His Son Jesus that we would have the gift of salvation.

One thing you should know, though, is that doubting God has consequences. It is not in your interest to dismiss the Word of God, because if you do, you will have yourself to blame.

Accept God for who he is; that he is God and not man, and that he cannot lie. God has given you a choice to either serve him or not. The choice you make, however, will determine the quality of your life on earth and where you will spend eternity afterward.

God knows all about you, and he is not far from you. He’s just waiting for you to retract your steps and follow Jesus. Hear what the Bible says:

"The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart," that is, the message concerning faith that we proclaim: If you declare with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:8–9, New International Version (NIV)

Therefore, unbelief can have drastic and far-reaching consequences for the individual if it is not remedied. Believe in Jesus for the salvation and redemption of your soul from sin and the judgment of God so that you do not end up like the unbelieving Jews.

We see in the Old Testament that many who refused to believe the Word of God died and didn’t make it into the Promised Land. And in the New Testament Bible, those who refused the word will be eternally damned in the lake of fire.

He that has ears to hear, let him hear what the Spirit of God is saying:
It is given to you (the believer) to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them (the unbelievers) it is not given. Mathew 13:11.
The emphasis in brackets is mine. In another place, it says:
And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: so Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation. Hebrews 9:27-28 KJV

Believe in Jesus for the salvation of your soul

why dont you believe in Jesus

You do yourself a favor if you believe in Jesus, but by failing to believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God who entered this world to die for our sins and rose again from death to save us, you do yourself a great disservice.

Every act of disobedience will be measured accordingly by God, and the penalty for refusing salvation is death. Although this might not sound sweet to your ears, that is what God says. The grace of God is now available for whoever needs it now that they are alive, because after death comes judgement.

For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God [that is, His remarkable, overwhelming gift of grace to believers] is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:23 Amplified Bible.

Salvation is in the name of Jesus alone. Anyone who tells you otherwise is a liar. Listen, any teaching contrary to this is not from God.

Jesus is the strong tower, our ever-present help in times of need, our defender, and our healer. Without Him, I can do nothing, but today, I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

This should be your confession as well. Believe it or not, you are living by the grace and mercies of God. Jesus is waiting to receive you. And so does God; He is waiting to receive you into His kingdom if only you’ll believe in Jesus and call upon Him to save you.

No one can save themselves. You cannot redeem your own soul. Can you cause a strand of your hair to grow? Of course not, so trying to live a moral life outside of Christ is not possible. You will fail eventually. By yourself you will fail for sure, but with God on your side, you become an overcomer.

All things are possible for the one who dares to believe in God, unlike the unbelieving Jews who suffered for their faithlessness.

This is the salvation that I preach: that Jesus is the Son of God and that he came to this world to redeem you and me by dying for our sins. Now, your only way to heaven is by believing the Word of God and accepting Jesus into your life.

Believe in Jesus now. Change your mind and your thoughts and let Him wash your sins away by His blood. Allow God to lead you by His Spirit, who will live with you if you surrender your life to Jesus and call on His name.

Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through Him. There is no shortcut to God; self-righteousness cannot save you. The Father wants us to recognize the Son as the only means to salvation.

Hear what the Lord is saying to you: “Come unto me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest,” Jesus said.

Enough of the toiling, you have suffered a lot why not look up to Jesus who is the author and the finisher of your faith. Remember that He knows everything concerning you because He was there right from the beginning of creation. He was even before the world was created.

God knows you better than you know yourself. It is only God who can tell the end from the beginning. And Jesus said that I and my Father are one. That is, the son cannot be separated from his father.

Whatever the Father knows, he discloses it to the Son. Come to Jesus today, for He knows you better than you know yourself.

What are you waiting for? Why don’t you or the Jews believe in Jesus? Honestly, only you can answer that question for yourself. But one thing that I do know is that there isn’t anything that can be compared to the love of God for you. Because while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. God demonstrated His love for us by giving His Son up to die for our sins.
