Obedience Is Better Than SacrificeThe Gift of God Is Eternal LifeThe Wages of Sin Is Death

Salvation in Jesus

What is salvation in Jesus? In simple terms, it means accepting Jesus as your Lord and Savior. Salvation is a process that begins when we recognize our spiritual need and ask God to forgive our sins. This is what Jesus taught us: to turn away from our sins, accept Him into our lives, and follow His path.

In him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shone in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it. John 1:4.

You cannot find life outside of Christ. What you have outside of Christ is temporary, but the life that Jesus promises to give you is eternal.

We are like pilgrims in this world. We are headed somewhere better, but the only way to get there is by accepting Jesus’ salvation. Salvation is the path to a higher spiritual understanding and provides us with a connection to God.

The Bible says, therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature; old things have passed away, and behold, all things have become new. 2 Corinthians 5:17.

Salvation means accepting that Jesus has paid the price for your sins and openly declaring Him as your Lord and Savior. There is nothing to be ashamed of in making these declarations public when a man truly finds Christ because sin tends to destruction whereas salvation in Jesus tends to eternal life.

When you come into contact with the kingdom of God through salvation, you don’t want to lose it. See how Jesus explains what it means to be saved, or, simply put, what it means to have the kingdom of God.

Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a treasure hid in a field, which when a man finds, he hides, and for joy thereof, he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field. Matthew 13:44

The kingdom of God is within you. It is what makes you God’s own. Salvation is the believer’s encounter with Jesus.

Thomas said unto him, "Lord, we know not whither you go, and how can we know the way?" Jesus said unto him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life; no man comes unto the Father but by me." John 14 vs. 5 to 6.

The salvation in Jesus we talk about is God’s gift to the sinners who believe in him. It is reserved for those who would dare to believe in the Lord God Almighty. And hear me: salvation is your passport to heaven.

The Salvation in Jesus is the Way to Eternal Life

Like Thomas, you might be asking similar questions: “What is salvation?” “Am I saved?” “How can I become born again?” These questions have been asked many times in the past and have been answered. The simple answer to those questions is that you find salvation in Jesus alone.

Jesus has paid the full price for your iniquities. When he was hung on the cross, he said, “It is finished.” That is, he had paid the entire penalty for your sin. He shed his blood for you so that you could be saved.

He was crucified, he died, and he rose again so that you and I could live. So, therefore, your choosing to continue in sin is like crucifying Christ a second time. Please, please, please! Make up your mind now to follow Jesus before it is too late.

Believe me, if Jesus hadn’t died for you, your case would have been worse. But thanks be to God for His unspeakable gift. The gift of salvation is that God did not hold back His Son but rather gave up His Son, Jesus, for our sake. God will give you a helping hand if you call upon him.

Have you heard that all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God? (Romans 3:23) By nature, we are sinners, caused by the disobedience of Adam and Eve. (Genesis 3:1-24) It was through them that sin entered the world.

You’re celebrated for God’s glory.

The original plan of God was for man to reign on earth forever. But after they were deceived by the devil through their willful disobedience to God’s Word, sin and death followed. However, God has made a way for us to return to him through salvation in Jesus’ name.

In another passage of the Bible, it says,

"But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe." Galatians 3:22.

We were all summed up in sin. However, God made a way through faith in Jesus. So anyone who comes to God must believe He is God. You must have faith in Him through Jesus Christ, his Son. It is only those who believe that Jesus is the Son of God and Lord over their lives who will be saved.

For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that every one may receive the things done in his body according to what the Lord has determined, whether it be good or bad. 2 Corinthians 5:10

So, you see, we all must appear before the judgment throne of God to give an account of our lives. However, I tell you something: that judgment is already taking place. The Holy Spirit is in this world with us, daily convicting the soul to repent and turn to God.

What do you think would happen to a sinner who refused to accept Jesus into their lives? Well, the Bible says it is eternal damnation that is left for such a person.

Give Your Life to Christ

I am sure that you want to spend your life in eternity with God. I believe that you are tired of living life the way you do, and that is why you are here. If this is true, then I will ask you to surrender your life to Jesus. Jesus is ready to save you, but the first step is for you to call upon him in prayer, and he will answer you. You can say this prayer of salvation now so that God will save you.
